Arrabbiata sauce, or sugo all'arrabbiata in Italian, is a spicy sauce for pasta made from garlic, tomatoes, and dried red chili peppers cooked in olive oil. The sauce originates from the Lazio region, around Rome.

As with any Italian marinara, this arribbiata sauce recipe is super-versatile and can be used in everything from pastas to pizzas and more. 

We use it as a salsa with tortillas as a snack or on crusty fresh Italian bread. In any way, a little Pecorino Romano, Grand Padano or if you are vegan, some lovely vegan sheeze over the top it’s delicious.
